Web widgets can bring fresh and interactive content to a wiki. Web widgets are little bits of code you embed into a webpage or blog. Once a widget is placed on a page, it can grab updated information or display interactive content. Examples include word of the day, daily riddles, educational videos, audio files, photo albums, games, and polls. Scroll down for links to a variety of widgets.

DIRECTIONS for putting widgets into a PB Wiki:

1. Copy and paste the web wigdet's embed code.
2. Go the PBworks page.
3. Click Edit.
4. Click the Insert menu and choose HTML/JavaScript
5. Paste the code and click Next. (You may need to click the box next to "Allow JavaScript and other potentially unsafe code.)
6. Click Insert 
7. Click Save and enjoy your new widget!
